Brazil, May 14 -- Thales announces the signature of a modernization contract for nine air traffic control radar systems awarded to Omnisys, a Thales company in Brazil and Strategic Defence Company (EED), as well as the delivery of a new radar station at Presidente Prudente (Sao Paulo State) which represents the milestone of 133 Thales air traffic control radars operating within Brazilian airspace.The modernization of these nine radars includes upgrades with advanced technology capable of 3D detection of both low- and high-speed targets.
