Uzbekistan, Dec. 22 -- On December 17, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a loan agreement with the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Tokyo, to provide Japanese ODA loan for the Livestock Promotion and Animal Health Enhancement Project. The signatures were exchanged between Minister Laziz Kudratov of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan and JICA President Tanaka Akihiko.The Project utilizes Japan's strength in livestock disease diagnostics and food safety testing to enhance Uzbekistan's animal health, thereby contributing to protect Japan's livestock industry from the threat of transboundary animal diseases.The project outline is explained below.Livestock Promotion and Animal Health En...
