EBRD, EU and Banca Intesa boost support for women and underserved businesses in Serbia
Serbia, Feb. 27 -- The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the European Union (EU), in partnership with Banca Intesa in Serbia, are stepping up their support for women entrepreneurs and small businesses across the country.The partners will make up to €120 million in new financing available to businesses that often struggle to access bank loans, including women-led enterprises, young entrepreneurs and small firms operating in tourism, agriculture and rural areas.The package consists of:€20 million dedicated to women-led businesses, provided by the EBRD under its Women in Business programmeup to €100 million in new loans for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), enabled through an EBRD risk-shari...
