Collins Aerospace awarded $174,070,000 contract

United States, March 9 -- Collins Aerospace, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was awarded a $174,070,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (H9224126DE003) with cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost reimbursement, and firm-fixed-price contract line item numbers for the modernization, production, sustainment, and contractor logistics support of Post Deployment Software Support VI systems used on Army Special Operations aviation aircraft. The work will primarily be performed in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and is expected to be complete by March 2031, with an optional six-month extension to September 2031. U.S. Special Operations Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, is the contracting activity. (Awarded March 5, 2026)
