Norway, Jan. 19 -- Cambi has signed a lease for a compact thermal hydrolysis process (THP) unit to provide additional treatment capacity at the Oxford sewage treatment works.The agreement has an initial one-year term with two one-year extension options. Thames Water will operate the system. Annual maintenance is included in each year of the lease. The lease of the Cambi THP will increase local treatment capacity by more than 50%, enabling Thames Water to process all solids locally instead of trucking considerable volumes for treatment elsewhere.Thames Water is the UK's largest water and wastewater services provider, serving around 16 million people in London and surroundings.
