Alstom and PLK SA signed a strategic agreement for the maintenance of point machines
Poland, Feb. 4 -- Alstom, a global leader in smart and sustainable mobility, has signed a four-year agreement with PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. of strategic importance for the safety of the national railway network. From 2026 to 2029, Alstom's team will be responsible for periodic inspections and overhaul of Onvia Switch electric point machines used across the Polish network. The main scope of the contract covers nearly 3,500 inspections and overhauls, with an option for an additional 800 inspections if needed. The work will include complete periodic maintenance and repairs in accordance with PKP PLK requirements and based on Alstom's standards for servicing and maintaining point machines such as Onvia Switch 500, 700 and 2000 models.Als...
