New Delhi, Nov. 12 -- Two teenagers have been arrested for allegedly killing a 49 year old vegetable vendor in an extortion-related case in southwest Delhi's Dwarka area.
According to the police on Monday, an incident of firing was reported in the area of Dwarka North police station on October 23, wherein it was informed that one vegetable vendor, namely Samarpal, was shot dead by two armed assailants. A case was registered under section 103 (Punishment for murder) of the BNS and 25 and 27 Arms Act in Dwarka North police station.
During investigation it was found that accused Aman wanted to extort money from the vendors and to maintain his monopoly he persuaded accused Prashant to shoot vegetable vendor.
