New Delhi, April 29 -- Amidst the preparedness to fight against terror, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh briefed Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack. Rajnath arrived at PM's residence and he was joined by National Security Adviser Ajit Doval, top brass of the defence and ministry bureaucrats.

The crucial meeting came a day after Singh met the Chief of General Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan to discuss the key decisions taken up by the military to counter Pakistan following the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam.
