NEW DELHI, Oct. 23 -- Some protesting students of Jamia Millia Islamia alleged that on administration's direction some "goons" allegedly attacked them while they were protesting peacefully in front of the Vice Chancellor's office on Tuesday at 6 pm seeking withdrawal of show-cause notices served on five students over protest at an international event on the campus on October 5. "Instead of talking to the Jamia students, Jamia Vice Chancellor and administration called bouncers who attacked protesting students. All this happened in presence of Jamia guards who stood there silently. Some students were rushed to hospital," said a student requesting anonymity.
