Bhopal, March 12 -- Days after doctors were attacked by hostile relatives of a patient, the Junior Doctors' Association (JDA) staged a protest at Hamidia Hospital on Tuesday, demanding strict legal action against the attackers and immediate improvements in hospital security to prevent future incidents.
Last Saturday, irate relatives attacked on-duty doctors, injuring three, including a junior doctor who sustained a head injury after their family member, Dolly Bai, passed away during treatment. Following the attack, more armed individuals entered the hospital and continued the assault, creating panic among medical staff.
