New Delhi, Jan. 30 -- The Delhi Police bagged the Best Marching Contingent Trophy in Republic Day Parade this year, making it the 17th victory for the police.
The Delhi Police Women's Contingent also won in 2024. "This remarkable back-to-back achievement underscores the unwavering commitment, hard work, and unity of the Delhi Police, further solidifying their reputation as one of the finest contingents in the Republic Day Parade. Prior to this, the contingent also won the Best Marching Contingent Trophy in 2021, with a previous win in 2006," a statement by the police said.
