Jammu, July 11 -- The total number of coronavirus positive cases are set to cross 10,000 in the next 24 hours in Jammu & Kashmir.

On Friday, the highest ever tally of 387 positive cases were detected in one single day while five more deaths due to Covid-19 were recorded, one in Jammu and four in Kashmir division.

In the last one month, Jammu & Kashmir has recorded more than 5,000 new cases of coronavirus.

The tally of positive cases stood at 4507 on June 10 and on Friday the total cases touched 9888.

According to the bulletin, "out of 9,888 positive cases, 3943 are active positive. So far, 5786 cases have recovered in Jammu & Kashmir and 159 deaths have been reported.
