MANILA, Nov. 21 -- Six Filipinos will represent the country in the WorldSkills Asia competition in Taiwan from Nov. 27 to 29.

This year's competition is expected to gather 500 competitors, experts, and professionals from 29 member and guest countries across Asia.

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) said "the Philippines' active participation in international skills competitions not only demonstrates the capability of Filipino workers but also enhances the country's reputation as a champion of skills excellence."
