Manila, Feb. 13 -- Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique Manalo will conduct an official visit to Germany and the United Kingdom from Feb. 14 to 19, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said Thursday.

The DFA said Manalo will be exchanging views with international partners on regional developments, and discuss means to further strengthen bilateral relations.

"(Secretary) Manalo's visits come at a pivotal moment, following the Philippines' celebration of the 70th anniversary of bilateral relations with Germany last year and ahead of the 80th anniversary of diplomatic relations with the United Kingdom next year," the DFA said in a statement.
