Manila, Feb. 28 -- An indie film is in the works with the aim of showing the viewers the dangerous effects of illegal drugs on the community and the consequences that await the dealers.

Jerome Sacpa, the producer and lead actor of the film "Buybust," said Friday they hope to propose the use of the film, once completed, in the Department of Education's information campaign against illegal drugs.

"This movie aims to showcase to the viewers the harsh and dangerous effects of illegal drugs in the community, the consequences that await the illegal (drug) dealers, and the dangers our authorities face every time they enforce the anti-illegal drugs law," he said in Filipino during a press conference here.
