Manila, June 26 -- The Philippine government is consistent in pushing for a two-state solution in the Israel-Palestine question, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said Thursday as it advocated anew for dialogue among concerned parties.

"We'll always support freedom and rule of law. We're one of the few countries in the region with good relations with all the countries there, whether Arab or Israelis or Iranians," Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Eduardo Jose De Vega said in an interview.

De Vega noted that Manila had been vocal on the humanitarian issue in Gaza and had also voted in favor of United Nations resolutions that criticized certain actions in the besieged enclave.
