Manila, Feb. 6 -- Basyang has weakened into a tropical depression, packing maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 70 kph, the weather bureau said in its 11 a.m. bulletin on Friday.

It was last located over the coastal waters of Anda, Bohol, moving west-northwest at 10 kph.
