Manila, May 7 -- Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas senatorial candidate and ACT-CIS party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo on Wednesday stressed that it is "high time" to review the existing deal with private companies such as Villar-owned PrimeWater Infrastructure Corporation (PWIC).
"Siguro (Perhaps, it's) high time that Congress and Senate will review," Tulfo said in a press conference here at the Bulacan State University.
"Kung talagang hindi ka na makapag-deliver ng maayos na serbisyo, dapat ikansela na 'yung franchise (if you really can no longer deliver good service, the franchise should be canceled)."
Tulfo said any contract with private companies that fail to provide reliable public utility services must be revoked.
