Mumbai, July 19 -- Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi's elder son and well-known actor-singer M.K. Muthu died today. 77-year-old M.K. Muthu breathed his last due to age-related illnesses. He was the elder brother of the state's current Chief Minister M.K. Stalin. His death has been confirmed by the family. M.K. Muthu was a famous personality of Tamil cinema, who earned fame in both acting and singing.
According to government sources, M.K. Muthu's body will be kept at his residence in Gopalapuram, Chennai for the last rites.
