Three Samoan officers leave for UN Mission to Sudan

Samoa, Oct. 14 -- Samoa's Acting Commissioner Papali'i Monalisa Tiai-KETI last week bid farewell to three officers deployed for Peacekeeping Mission in South Sudan Africa. The contingent of three, which included one female officer is scheduled to depart Samoa on Monday 14th October 2019. These officers will be on tenure with the United Nations Peacekeeping for one year.
Acting Commissioner reminded the officers of the importance of being ambassadors of Samoa to the UN and to adhere to the values and the code of conduct of the Samoa Police whilst on deployment. They have to use the opportunity to learn and get more experience while working in South Sudan.
