Woman Hacked To Death In Robbery Bid: Locals Observe 12-Hour Bangomunda Bandh Today
Bhubaneswar, Sept. 16 -- A 12-hour Bangomunda bandh is being observed by the locals in Bolangir district on Thursday as the miscreants, who had killed the wife of a businessman during a robbery bid, is yet to be arrested even five days after the incident.
Earlier last week, armed miscreants had hacked the woman identified as Manju Devi, wife of Binod Jain, to death while critically injuring Jain's sister Kan Kumari Jain during a daring daylight house break-in at Zamidarpada village under Bangomunda police limits.
Locals have called the bandh from 6 am to 6 pm demanding immediate arrest of the miscreants and stringent action against them.
