Bhubaneswar, Feb. 15 -- The Excise Department conducted a late-night raid at a bar and pub in the Kharavela Nagar area of Odisha's Bhubaneswar on Valentine's Day, following allegations that the establishment was operating beyond permitted hours.

According to reports, the bar remained open throughout the night, with youths allegedly intoxicated till late hours. Permission was granted for operations only till 12 midnight.

However, local residents alleged that rules and regulations were flouted and loud DJ music was played and plans were reportedly in place to continue operations till dawn.
