Mayurbhanj, March 17 -- As many as 15 girl students of Mukund High School in Morada block of the district today vacated their hostel and marched on foot to lodge their grievances before Mayurbhanj Collector Vineet Bhardwaj. The students wanted to meet and apprise the collector over the problems that they were facing in the hostel.
Notably, the Collector's office was some 50 kms away from their hostel. The students had already covered a distance of 5 kms before district administration officials including Welfare Extension Officer (WEO), District Welfare Officer (DWO), local police and school headmaster stopped them near Jhinkiria Chhak.
