The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) on Saturday released a new Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and revised price list for the sale of parts used in the construction of the chariots used during the annual Rath Yatra.
As per the new SOP, the wheel of Lord Jagannath's Nandighosha chariot each is priced at Rs 3 lakh. The wheel of Lord Balabhadra's Taladhwaja chariot is set at Rs 2 lakh, while that of Goddess Subhadra's Darpadalana chariot will cost Rs 1.5 lakh each.
Among other components, the Guja and Ansuari parts are priced at Rs 15,000 each, and the Prabha is priced at Rs 25,000.
