Bhubaneswar, Nov. 12 -- As many as seven miscreants allegedly looted Rs 2.40 lakh rupees from a person's house by impersonating them as police. The incident was reported from Ruben village under Mohan Giri police station in the border area of Kalahandi and Kandhamal district on Monday.
Three of the seven fake police personnel were reportedly overpowered by local people and they were eventually handed over to the police. Four others managed to escape and they are still on the run.
