India, April 8 -- In a major tourism boost, Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Tuesday announced that the state government will soon begin work on a "Shakti Corridor" connecting all major Shakti Peeths (seats of the Goddess) across the state.

The project is targeted to be completed within two years and will bring together temples such as Maa Tara Tarini, Maa Biraja, Maa Ugratara, Maa Bhagabati, Maa Mangala, Maa Kalijai, and Maa Bhairavi under a single spiritual circuit to promote pilgrimage, cultural heritage, and religious tourism.
