Serious allegations have surfaced against a doctor at MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur, claiming his involvement in the unauthorised referral of a patient from the casualty department to a private hospital, allegedly for personal gain.
According to reports, a patient named Balram Gouda from Baghalati in Golanthara died due to alleged medical negligence at a private hospital in Berhampur.
The family members of the deceased have raised serious concerns, alleging that he was first brought to the MKCG hospital, but was soon referred to a private hospital under suspicious circumstances.
