Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi approved a twofold increase in the annual uniform allowance for Odisha Police personnel, on Thursday. The ambitious move is intended to enhance morale and support the welfare of police force in the State.
This decision marks a significant shift in funding, with uniform allowances for ranks from constable to inspector seeing a doubling in their previous amounts.
