Bhubaneswar, March 12 -- Pakistan cricket team is unlikely to travel to India for the forthcoming ODI World Cup. As per reports, the development is more or less confirmed after the team was denied NOC by the Pakistan government.

As per a report in 'The News', the Pakistan government has refused to give NOC to the cricket team for the mega event citing security issues.

As per sources, Pakistan government expressed concern over the safety and security of the cricketers by saying that sending the team to India would be a huge risk.

"We have some serious security concerns and under the circumstance, we cannot allow our cricketers to travel to India," said a Pakistan government official.
