Bhubaneswar, Dec. 7 -- A pregnant woman in Manidiha village under Mohana block ofGajapati district in Odisha endured a harrowing experience on Saturday after an ambulance was unable to reach her home due to the absence of a motorable road. The incident has once again exposed the persistent issue of poor rural connectivity in the region.
According to reports, Tara Raita, wife of Krishna Raita, went into labour and her family immediately contacted authorities for an ambulance. However, the vehicle got stuck midway as the road leading to the village is unfit for vehicular movement.
