In a deeply disturbing incident, a minor girl was allegedly gang-raped by three youths in a remote forest area of Sundargarh district. The crime took place in the Talsara police station limits and it has triggered shock and outrage in the local community.
According to reports, the girl had gone to attend the traditional 'Ekosia Bhoji' on Monday, a community feast held in many parts of rural Odisha. After the event, she was returning home with two other minor girls when the accused intercepted them.
