India, April 8 -- Even as the low-pressure area has now become well-marked over the southwest and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday informed that it is likely to move north-north-westwards during the next 24 hours over west-central Bay of Bengal, maintaining the intensity of well-marked low.

Thereafter, it is likely to re-curve north-north-eastwards and weaken gradually over the central Bay of Bengal during the subsequent 24 hours.
