India, March 14 -- In anticipation of unruly behaviour and hooliganism during Holi celebrations, the Cuttack Commissionerate Police has ramped up security measures to ensure a peaceful and incident-free festival.

As per the latest announcement by Cuttack DCP Rishikesh Khilari, a total of 22 platoons of police personnel will be deployed across the city to maintain law and order during Holi celebrations.

Strict Action Against Drunken Misconduct The DCP has issued a stern warning against consuming alcohol during Holi.

"If anyone is found playing Holi under the influence of alcohol, strict action will be taken against him/her," he stated.
