A first-year B.Tech Computer Science student from Nepal at KIIT University in Bhubaneswar was found dead on Thursday evening. Her body was reportedly recovered in one of the girls' hostels of the varsity.
This is the second death of a Nepali student at the university in the past three months.
Expressing deep sorrow over the death of the Nepali girl student, the Odisha government extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and assured all support.
Through a letter, the I&PR Department said, "In this hour of distress, the State Government extends its support to the family of the deceased and offers its condolences to them...
