Covid Surge: Decision On Conduct Of Class IX Exam After April 30, Says Odisha Minister
Bhubaneswar, April 11 -- Bhubaneswar: Odisha Mass Education Minister Sameer Dash on Sunday said that the department wants to conduct examination of Class IX students. However, a final decision will be taken only after opening of the schools on April 30.
"The curriculum of Class-IX is almost complete. As the schools have been closed till April 30 in view of the resurgence of COVID cases, a decision on the conduct of Class-IX examinations will be taken after reviewing the COVID situation," said Dash.
Dash further urged the private schools which have not registered under the RTE-Paradarshi portal, to complete necessary formalities to provide admissions to the economically backward students.
