Keonjhar, April 6 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has drawn the attention of Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) over discrepancies found in the father's name of BJD's Keonjhar Lok Sabha candidate, Chandrani Murmu.
As per reports, while the father's name registered in Chandrani's nomination paper is Sanjeeb Murmu, in the voter identification card it is Sanjeeb Sinha. Similarly, the name, Kartik Chandra Soren, was registered as father of Chandrani while she was pursuing her B-Tech degree from ITER College.
A team of BJP met the CEO today questioning the validity of Chandrani's candidature citing these discrepancies.
