Bhubaneswar, Nov. 9 -- Keonjhar: With rapid urbanization, large scale deforestation and high level of pollution, birds are losing habitat resulting in the decline of the avian species across the globe. At this crucial juncture, a group of nature lovers of a village in Odisha has taken up unique initiative that proves birds and humans can co-exist in complete harmony.
A group of youngsters of Jadichatar village under Patana block of Keonjhar district have stepped out of their house to provide artificial abode to these birds. The youths have made hand-made nests using straws, twigs and grasses.
