India, Jan. 28 -- Hagrama Mohilary, leader of the Bodoland People's Front (BPF) and head of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), said on Tuesday that the unfinished parts of the 2020 Bodo Peace Accord will soon be taken up with both the Assam government and the Centre.
Speaking at the 6th anniversary of the agreement, he said that the Bodo community is still waiting for several promises to be fulfilled.
The 2020 Bodo Peace Accord, signed by the Government of India, the Assam government, and all factions of the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB), brought an end to years of conflict in the region and set the stage for development and stability.
