Ranchi, Aug. 15 -- The first refill of gas cylinders is being provided free of cost to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. In 2019-20, the beneficiaries of the Prime Minister Ujjwala scheme will refill the gas, after refilling, the amount equivalent to the value of the refill of the cylinder will be transferred to the account by DBT. It was decided in the cabinet meeting on Wednesday. Apart from this, all the poor families with ration cards have been included in this scheme while modifying the Chief Minister Sukanya scheme. Till now the benefit of this scheme was available only to poor families identified under SECC data and ration card holders of Antyodaya Anna Yojana.
