India, March 19 -- Speaking about her role in the upcoming film 'Brahmastra', actress Mouni Roy said, "I was surprised initially that they wanted me to play the villain." She added that the film's director Ayan Mukerji felt she could play the villain after seeing her performance in the TV show 'Naagin'. The film, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, will release in December.
