New Delhi, Nov. 19 -- Delhi Cabinet Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh conducted a high-level review of the ongoing recreational boat tourism and ferry service project between Sonia Vihar and Jagatpur along the Yamuna, in the presence of Union Minister for Ports, Shipping & Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal, Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, and Cabinet colleague Kapil Mishra.
The ambitious project-being developed on National Waterway-110 through a joint effort of IWAI, DDA, DTTDC, the Irrigation & Flood Control Department, and the Delhi Jal Board-aims to boost eco-tourism, strengthen local connectivity, and transform the Yamuna riverfront into a vibrant recreational corridor.
