New Delhi, April 10 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has demanded an immediate stop to the arbitrary fee hike by private schools in Delhi. Leader of Opposition Atishi has written a letter to Delhi's Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, urging her to intervene and roll back the increased fees without delay.

Atishi alleged that after the change of government in February 2025, many private schools have not only hiked their fees drastically but have also resorted to humiliating students whose parents are unable to pay the revised fees.

Atishi pointed out the role of Mr. Bharat Arora, President of the Action Committee of Unaided Private Schools, who has been a long-time advocate of fee hikes in private schools and is closely associated with the BJP. She ...
