New Delhi, March 28 -- On Friday, March 27, 2020, the Ministry of Health, for reallocation of residents, PG students and nursing students, released the standard operating procedure (SOP). The move comes as part of hospital management in the wake of the deadly Coronavirus outbreak in the country.
The SOP stated, "Training about COVID-19, and other aspects of clinical evaluation of patients should also be made available for residents, especially those drawn from departments where there is either no regular patient-care activity (pre- and para- clinical departments) or if they so desire, even those with a limited engagement with sick patients."
