New Delhi, May 30 -- External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar met with New Zealand's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Winston Peters in New Delhi, continuing the momentum from Prime Minister Chris Luxon's recent visit to India.

Dr. Jaishankar expressed gratitude for New Zealand's support and solidarity following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. The two leaders reviewed the progress of bilateral ties and reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation.

Amid growing global volatility, both sides emphasized the importance of working together to ensure a peaceful, stable, rules-based, and prosperous Indo-Pacific region.
