New Delhi, Feb. 7 -- The Delhi government has initiated steps to significantly reform the capital's transport governance by beginning the process of drafting legislation for the creation of the Delhi Unified Metropolitan Transport Authority (DUMTA) and the Delhi Urban Transport Fund (DUTF). The move, announced by the Chief Minister's Office, aims to improve coordination, planning, and long-term sustainability of Delhi's transport system.
