New Delhi, June 27 -- On the occasion of International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta participated in an awareness programme held at the Yamuna Sports Complex. Addressing a large gathering of youth, she administered a pledge to stay away from drugs, spread awareness in society, and contribute to building a drug-free Delhi and India.
Highlighting the far-reaching impact of drug abuse, Gupta said that addiction not only harms individual health but also threatens family unity and the very fabric of society. She called upon Delhi's youth to channel their energy towards nation-building, public service, and positive social change - a vision central to the Delhi Government's mission.
