New Delhi, Dec. 3 -- A review meeting was held at the Delhi Secretariat to assess preparations for the Winter Action Plan. The government has placed the safety and protection of the homeless, patients, schoolchildren, children in Anganwadi-daycare centres, and security personnel deployed in government buildings as the top priority under the plan.

It was informed that all night shelters are being equipped with standardised facilities and enhanced security measures, including CCTV cameras specifically for women's safety.
