New Delhi, Jan. 9 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) accused BJP leaders of circulating a "fake and manipulated" video related to a discussion in the Delhi Assembly on the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sikh Guru Tegh Bahadur. Delhi Assembly Deputy Leader of Opposition Mukesh Ahlawat wrote to Speaker Vijender Gupta, alleging that a doctored clip with a fabricated transcript was being shared to falsely implicate Leader of the Opposition Atishi.

In his letter, Ahlawat stated that the official Assembly telecast clearly shows that Atishi raised the issue during a motion of thanks on the Lieutenant Governor's address and that the discussion on Guru Tegh Bahadur concluded respectfully.
