New Delhi, July 3 -- Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, announced the successful completion of the 66.916 km long, 4-lane Greenfield Bandikui Spur, built at a cost of Rs.2,016 crore. This vital infrastructure project provides direct, access-controlled connectivity between the Delhi-Vadodara Expressway and Jaipur-addressing the long-standing gap of an efficient route between the two major cities.
According to Gadkari, the new spur will reduce travel time between Delhi and Jaipur from 3 hours 45 minutes to just 3 hours, significantly easing traffic pressure on National Highways 48 and 21. The development is expected to enhance mobility, cut fuel consumption, and reduce congestion.
