'Morocco Day' Festival Expands to Another US City
Rabat, April 2 -- Likewise, starting this year, Mayor Justin Wilson of Alexandria, Virginia, has proclaimed June 9 as an annual day to celebrate Moroccan culture and history.
Mohamed El Hajjam, the president of MAN, has confirmed that Alexandria will host a cultural festival to pay homage to Morocco's diversity.
The festival will feature a mixture of Morocco's Gnawa music and dance, jazz music, and other artistic expressions.
The event will also be an opportunity to celebrate Morocco as a country with a genuine culture of peace and generosity.
